**Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)** teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among **adults**, **children,** and **adolescents**. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support. This course can be delivered to special population groups such as: **Veterans, Fire & EMS, Law Enforcement, Tribe Cultures and Indigenous People, Older Adults,** and Higher Education.

The **AS+K? Basic Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper** course provides participants with an overview of the basic epidemiology of suicide and suicidal behavior, including risk and protective factors.

Reducing access to lethal means, such as firearms and medication, can determine whether a person at risk for suicide lives or dies. **Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM)** focuses on how to reduce access to the methods people use to kill themselves. It covers how to: (1) identify people who could benefit from lethal means counseling, (2) ask about their access to lethal methods, and (3) work with them—and their families—to reduce access.
While this course is primarily designed for mental health professionals, others who work with people at risk for suicide, like social service professionals and health care providers, may also benefit from taking it.

The Certified Mental Health Administrator (CMHA)© is an industry-level certification that provides the necessary education to bridge the gap between clinical applications of mental health treatment and the necessary tools and skills to become a successful administrative leader through operational excellence and mindful self-reflection of your professional character.
